Indoor Personal Training is Back!
As of October 9, gyms in our area are allowed to be open (with some restrictions). And we are thrilled! We have all of the recommended safety precautions in place, and more, and we are strictly following all restrictions and guidelines to make your return to indoor personal training at Body Balance as safe as possible. Please keep reading for more information about the above-and-beyond precautions we have in place.
If you prefer not to train indoors, we have options for you.
Personal Training: Virtual Live and Outdoors In-Person Sessions Will Continue
We will continue to offer both live virtual personal training as well as socially distanced one-on-one training outdoors.
Our virtual personal training sessions are providing clients with a way to stay consistent with their personalized workouts from the comfort and safety of their own home.
We create customized workouts to fit your needs and utilize the equipment you have on hand. No equipment, no problem: we will devise a fitness routine you can do using only your own body. We work with you via your favorite video streaming service, like Zoom or FaceTime.
Many of our clients have found our virtual sessions to be a great solution, and they’ve been happy to share their positive feedback.
We’re also having a blast training clients in person outdoors. Each client works out in their own designated space, either in the shade under the veranda or, weather permitting, in the space out in front of Body Balance. We’ve marked off each personal training area to make social distancing easy.
Massage is Back: Indoors and Outdoors!
Body Balance is thrilled to be able to now provide massages in two locations. We have reopened our tranquil massage therapy rooms and welcome you to book your next appointment.
For clients who prefer our outdoor option, that will also remain available. You can enjoy the fresh air while you relax with a therapeutic massage in our private outdoor area. A great feature of our outdoor space is that there’s room for two massages at once, so we welcome you to book a couples massages.
Now you have two options for being able to release the stress of chaotic times, work out knots and kinks, or just take a moment for yourself to be still and let us pamper you.
Safety Updates
At Body Balance, your safety is our top priority. We continue to follow all federal and local guidelines for safety and wellness. With months of practice under our belts now, we’ve got these protocols dialed!
And we’ve upgraded for a safer experience. One big change we’ve made is to install air purifiers in our fitness areas, to help make indoor training that much safer.
Since our last update, we’ve implemented use of the 59S UV-light wand, which can kill up to 99.9 percent of bacteria and germs in three minutes.

- masks and gloves for all staff
- social distancing among staff and all clients
- temperature check upon arrival
- touchless trash cans
- equipment cleaned after each use
- regular disinfection of high-touch surfaces
