As a lifelong Pleasanton resident, Amber spent the past eight years perfecting her videography and video editing skills using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro software. She has become most familiar with filming interviews, events, and corporate videos, and she strives to always produce high-quality, creative, and aesthetic content. As a skilled tennis player, Amber is also no stranger to the gym and injury-prevention training. Representing Foothill High School in 2016, Amber became the first tennis player in the East Bay Athletic League to win the individual NCS singles title. She played Division II tennis at California State University, Stanislaus, representing the team as the #1 singles and doubles player. As a senior, she led the team to a historic 5th place finish in Surprise, Arizona in 2023. Her experience as an athlete who spent a lot of time on the courts and in the gym will come in handy as she films videos, creates social media posts, and writes blogs for Body Balance.
At Stanislaus State, Amber spent two years working as the Social Media Manager for her tennis team. She also spent a semester working for The Signal Newspaper, where she filmed and edited videos and wrote articles highlighting breaking news and events around campus. In 2023, Amber was chosen as the sole student in the Creative Media program to win the Dean’s Award of Excellence and Outstanding Student Achiever award for her hard work in the classroom. All of Amber’s past video work can be found on her personal website, https://ambernhuk.wixsite.com/amberhuk-videography. Amber is also working for Tri-Valley Community Television as a Producer and Videographer.
Amber looks forward to creating numerous forms of digital content for Body Balance, to help increase their presence on social media and the business’ website.
