NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist

Stretchologist

Crysta has dedicated her career to helping people feel their best through training and reaching their fitness goals for individuals at any stage in life. As a professional kinesiologist and personal trainer, Crysta specializes in corrective exercise and sports performance and is currently working on getting certified as a weight loss specialist and obtaining a nutrition certification. She is certified through the National Association of Sports Medicine and earned her degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University St. Paul.

Crysta decided to pursue an education in kinesiology during her time at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, TX. She is passionate about helping others return to sport and regain quality of life after injuries. Crysta has 18 years of dance experience, 3 years of Jr. Olympic trampoline and tumbling, and a few years of volleyball, track (sprinting), Tae-Quon-Do, and ultimate frisbee.

In high school, as the Jr. Lieutenant of her varsity dance team, she was responsible for conditioning and team stretch sessions, among other things. As a dancer and gymnast, she experienced numerous injuries and witnessed many more in other athletes due to sport demand and improper form. This perspective shaped the “why” behind her pursuit of a career in the field of kinesiology, rehabilitation, and athletic injury prevention.

You can expect Crysta to integrate corrective exercise, stretching techniques, sport performance enhancement, and health and wellness coaching into your personalized fitness plans based on the goals you are trying to achieve.
