Cherie comes to Body Balance with a lifetime of experience as a competitive athlete, including spending her earlier years as a nationally competitive bicycle racer on the road and track, having earned her way on to a professional team. These days she has a dedicated yoga practice and participates in trail and road running events ranging from 5km to 50 miles.
It was a shocking wake-up for Cherie when, a few years ago, she experienced two very painful slipped discs. This led her on a healing journey of discovering the importance of body fundamentals: correct posture, flexibility, addressing muscle imbalances, developing proper body mechanics, and the like. She has a great passion for sharing what she has learned through this experience as well as her athletic background with her clients. It is always her aim to inspire people to find the joy, health, and healing in movement.
